I wanted to share a few photos I took from the Connecticut Flower & Garden Show yesterday. It was wonderful to see early spring I'm telling you, flowers do excite the senses.

I got a shot of a artist that makes paintings by embrodering silk thread. He had one of an eagle that I wanted to share with Boss.

If you can I highly recommend going to your nearest flower and garden show. It is such an joy to see all the ideas. You know Landscapers that create these large displays would make fabulous florists.

I did see the CFA booth and it was full of folks. One thing I noticed, some of the floral arrangements used bad mechanics, some flowers were wilting (at the beginning of the show?) Even the floral design section, some bad wilting going on. There were at least 12000 people there that morning.

Tell me, why are the vendors that sell all the willow branch bunches so popular?

Thom, thanks for sharing those lovely pics. These eyes brightened considerabley. I'd love to share what I did today, but the pictures are blizzard like with distant doggie shapes to look for... where's Waldo perhaps.

Nevertheless, the dogs and I had a great time.
