I am a second generation florist and have been full time in the industry for 13 years.

I started going to a local school with Tom Bowling in Cincinnati and was inducted into AIFD in 2003.

I was on the SAF design team for 1 Clinton and 2 Bush inaugurations. The main projects were to design the flowers for the different balls. At the last one, most of the balls were at the convention center and I personally worked on one ball.....each one had basically the same designs and look.. they were very well coordinated. Also I did a lot of work on florals for the major hallways in the center.

Throughout the week, I was involved in many projects from private parties, ( did a big one at Union Station) decorating churches, televised events, etc.

I closed the commercial end of my company in March of 07 to go strictly social. So I was not in on Obama's balls. However for Bush we produced 3 unofficial balls, plus numerous K street parties.

I heard it was nightmarish this year.

No, I have not had the privilege of working on an inauguration yet. As Barb will confirm, I work at Fitz Design and we are pretty much specialists when it comes to Prom in both marketing and design. If there are any questions any one has about how to make your proms even more successful I can help.

Yeah, he is affectionately known as Cory 2. He has worked with my family and myself quit a few times. We shared a room when we tested for our AIFD.
 
I assume you are talking about the AIFD directory. If so, it is just Brown. I have the horribly pixelated picture in this years copy. It is also best to check the website for AIFD stuff.

I was looking at the 2007-2008 directory and you're not in there, but then I found the 2008-2009 directory and there you are...
I wonder why you're not in the '07-'08...
