Craziest request all year

Just had a bride call, she's getting married in October and is doing her own flowers. It is a morning wedding and they will be too busy to set up their flowers is that something we would do.

Well.... NO!!

After the fact I could have said ya for $$$ we'd do it. NOT then either because then we'd be setting ourselves up for being responsible if there was anything wrong.

There really are nervey people out there.

If florists make it easy for them to have it both ways, they will continue to strive to have it both ways. Soon, and hopefully, they will figure out that you could have done the whole wedding for close to what they paid in money and sweat to do it themselves. When, oh when, will they learn?

That's crazy. Glad you said no. Geez.
I had a recent boss get a (common) request from a bride, to bring her own flowers from Sam's Club or wherever and have us design them. My thought on it was, that's like going to a restaurant and saying, can I bring my own food and have you cook it?
I know there are some out there who would say, hey charge 'em, get that $ but we all have to do what makes sense to us.

See, I would have told her we'd be glad to do it if she decided she'd have us do the flowers also. Not October yet!! There's still time. Maybe she'd rethink her DIY flowers.

Oh that would be really great showing up in your marked van and walking in with walmart silk flowers!! omg people are so dumb. and she would want you to do it for 20 bucks:cat:
