I had a retailer relay this story that happened to her.
A box was delivered to my house from FTD.com. There was no card saying who sent the flowers. I called FTD to ask and they came back on the line to tell me "It looks as if these flowers were sent to you as part of a credit card fraud scam." They told me this was a new trend and to call my credit card company to dispute the charges. I called Capital One to find out that my credit card had been used in 12 states and for several thousand dollars! Capital One said the scammers are using stolen cards/card numbers for several days then sending the owner of the card flowers thru FTD.com as a "thank you" for all the free things they got on their card.
