I have just started a business called The Kissing Tree which specialises in wedding flowers. My website address is: www.thekissingtree.com.au
I started the business in February 2009, and I operate it from home. I have been a florist for 3 years after completing my formal qualification at a private college in Sydney, so I expect that there is still so much more to learn and I would be extremely appreciative of some tips along the way.

Lovely website, lovely work. Thank you for answering the questions posed on the intro page... you've made our job easier.

One question... do you have coolers for your flowers and bouquets in your home studio? Just curious.

Thom, I have just been looking at your website, and your work is beautiful! Wow.

And Victoria, I don't have a coolroom. But I do have a 3 door display refrigerator. It is doing the job for now, but I really hope that in the future I will need to upgrade to something bigger.

I'm assuming you're a full fledged business in your area then... with all the taxes and bells and whistles that go along with it.

Actually it's moot if you have a cooler in my opinion. I'm just asking the questions others will ask too.

Oh yes.....taxes, and in Australia we have BAS statements....... aren't they fun :spin I would much rather just create beautiful arrangements, than any of the paperwork.
