Deal or No Deal!

If you have been watching this show on NBC lately, you would have known that Howie Mandel is a Canadian Boy. You would have also heard that they are bringing Deal or No Deal to Toronto in January of 2007.

This was announce on Entartainment Canada on Global Television last week.

You basically had a week to prepare to their specifications the requirements you needed to send either electronically or by mail to arrive by yesterday November 7.

Well I am announcing that I officially entered the race to be a contestant on this show. My application was received on time.

THe next steps are as follow:

IF SELECTED: IWill be notified and I must show up in Toronto either Dec 4 or 5th with my supporters for a interview.

After this interview, IF SELECTED, THe taping of this show will be in Toronto during the week of January 20-27th.
THis does not mean I am a contestant when I put my application. I can be called for the interview and still not selected to be on the show.

I had to fill out 37 questions, information about myself and my supporters andgeneral questions they posted. Just that alone was hard enough at times.

I will keep you posted on the progress.
IS there anyone on here that have been or tried to be a contestant on a game show and can give me tips? It is much appreciated.

I know that if I go to the end and appear that I want to make sure myself and all of my supporters wears a bout or corsage and that we have one for Howie.

My only advice is remember they are looking for someone that will make a good show. Wear your bouts to the interview, that would be something to set you apart from the other contestants.
My husband always complains the people on the show are acting crazy, but thats what it takes to get on there.

Me too I wanted to enter, I thought how cool would that be? but the gazillion questions turned me away, and the pictures of me and of my supporters and bla bla bla.
