Deer Antlers or Deer Related

I cant get ahold of any deer antlers for a funeral piece for tomorrow, anyone got any other ideas that signify deer hunter? thanks...

Maybe some empty brass bullet casings from your local gun shop, or incorporate some natural vegetation. Antlers are always the best but can be hard to come by sometimes.

Go to one or more of your local cloth stores......They might have some type of deer or deer print fabric that you could use similar to a tapestry.

If you have a sporting goods/ hunting store near by call them. They could help you locate them I would think. I have also seem faux ones in deorating stores - i.e. home goods

Cabelo's , Gander Mountain, and even in the back of some Dick's sporting goods stores(not every store has a hunting dept).

You would be surprised what you can find on CraigsList... There is a Wanted Section. What about going to a pawn shop and purchasing a bow or other hunting equiptment....

How about a local gift store that has a lodge section. You might be able to use antlers (resin) that are made into candle holders/bookends/lamp etc.

I decided to make the antlers, went on shopping spree, couldnt find any, so I will let you know how the turned out...

If anyone has to make antlers, it was really easy with sculpey craft clay and a little paint. I will post pic later.
