Does anyone have a list of rules that i could look at for new drivers or part time drivers that you hire for holidays. I thought that if i could hand them something to read before they came in for the first day of delivery that it might help them. It always seems that we forgot to tell them one thing or another. I really would appreciate any help. I keep formulating one in my brain but would like to see what you already have- thanks Charlieevergreen

Also need procedures...here's a few to get you started ~
Where delivery slips and orders are kept. Where to turn in when delivery is complete.
What to do with order and slip if returned to the shop.
Required info. on delivery ticket. Our policy for holiday drivers is two signatures - recipient and driver, date, and time. Anything missing? No payment for that delivery.
Log info. - if required.
What to do when no one is home. Neighbor, porch, door knocker, telephone message, etc.
Explanation that parking tickets, speeding tickets, etc. are their problem, not yours.
Loading docks, Delivery zones, Fire zones, etc.
Cost of key map to them if not returned.
Dress code...had a temp show up with a cartoon condom shirt!
Reimbursement - gas, mileage, per piece, per stop, etc.

Go to Facebook and see if they have any pictures of themself doing doughnuts in thier last delivery vehicle.
