I don't have pics of these items to post, the designs are:
TF 203-6 (Corner cluster inside casket)
TF 205-3 (Hinge spray inside casket)
TF 215-2 (L-shaped hinge spray inside casket)

Anyone have pics of these items to post?

How do you construct these corner pieces? Do you include a note or instructions for the funeral director how to place? Do you include pins? What are your prices?

The designers in my shop all construct these items using different techniques. Appreciate all input! Thanks!

Dianne,

I found pics of all 3 on this site:
http://www.51059500.telefloristonline.com/searchresult.asp

If you type the number (e.g. 203-6) in their "Search by Keyword" box, you'll get a pic of each. The pics are small, but if you click them they will enlarge once. Hope it helps.

Two ways
1. Italian ruscus bent with flowers glued on. We always have instructed the FD's or pinned them in ourselves.
2. The new heavy decorative wire: usually use the light green to mold the corner spray using what ever greens we need to use. If "lighter" greens we bend the wire in circlets, flatten out and glue greens to front and back to form the corner and lengths, then glue flowers on the greens.
If the FD is not comfortable with pinning them on, I do it. Usually only takes a couple of pins depending on the flowers.
BTW, I didn't look at the pics

you can find those pics at any TF website. I recommend www.mioux.com.

Also, I have done the first two. Tape the flowers and assemble. The first one I make two individual units, think long corsages and then wire and tape the two pieces together.

The second is easy. Just wire and tape the individual flowers then take a binding wire to bind the flowers together the base of greens. It looks like Sprengheri, but I would rather use Italian Ruscus. The Sprengheri might shed and be a pain to pick off the casket lining or the deceased.

Oh one other thought, with example one and three, you don't necessarily have to bind the two seperate pieces together. Just take the the FH, and pin them in the corner individually. I have done it this way as well as the technique I described in the previous post.

L Shaped corner pieces

Hi Dianne,

I use a small Bouq holder. This is a good method for thirstier flowers. Usually base it with It. Ruscus, Israeli Ruscus or Myrtle. Use a drapery hook for the back. Feed it thru the slits in the holder. The FD & I came up with the Drapery hook. He impales it right thru the casket. Doesn't move & flowers stay fresh, quick too. Make it a great day. Debbie

Diane; I Ran Into This Problem Of Funeral Director Not Knowing What To Do With It Even With Instructions As To Placement When I Delivered It He Said There Was No Way For Him To Do This I Offerd My Help He Was Very Thankful For Someone To Help Him.
