**** the Devils, ****, ****, ****!!! At least can get some sleep now. ****.

If only the Sens would have showed up in games 2,3 and 4..........oh well there's always next year? If we can find a new owner! as the deal for the Corel Center is not final yet and the sale of the team hinges on that!!!

Melynk (good Toronto boy) should have the team locked up soon. Maybe then, I'll start to respect them.

Until then ... WAY TO GO, JERSEY!!!!

Oh ya ... Go Ducks in the final!

True BBJ, if they had shown up in games 2,3,4. He's getting a heck of a deal on the Corel Center from the number I heard. On Venture last Sunday night,it was mentioned it might become the BioVail Centre. Time will tell what happens, from what I can see, he is the best choice at this time to own the team/building.

I hope the DUCKS win the cup. Steve Thomas deserves it.

Theres another team Melynk is looking at also, and he will be looking into it when he comes here next month.

NJ should be proud of their sport teams.
Devils and Nets both going to the finals.
Knicks and Rangers not going anywhere for a while.

BBJ...the SENS DID SHOW UP....

they "showed up" a lot of other teams, team owners, and players!!
It has been a REAL LONG TIME since I've watched a team play from sheer determination, and lack of fear!!
They were NEVER afraid of being behind, they were NEVER out of control, and when you watched their passing, it was highly organized, almost NEVER did they make errant passes!!
What a year, what adversity, what a joy to watch them compete!!

Mikey , that the best argument for a small market team that I've ever heard. Just goes to show how to put a excellent team on the ice, field or court without having to spend billions on players with over-inflated egos like the Rangers and Knicks. Hopefully the Governors of the NHL can come to realize that the league is only as strong as its weakest link and put in place some sort of salary cap and or luxury tax to even out the playing field. Won't be much point having a two tiered league with only the large market teams able to afford a quality team , and the other smaller markets being only farm teams to the big boys. Sort of what has happened in baseball.
