Hi!
I'm an event florist in London, Ontario, Canada. I am not a retail florist- I concentrate solely on weddings and other large events. I'm constantly on line, researching, looking for inspiration- today I was introduced to this forum by a FlowerChat member (Mocha Rose). This is just what I'm looking for! Inspiration and reliable advice! I hope to be able to provide both as well

- How long have you been in business?
3 years as owner of Designs in Bloom a business I founded. (Prior to that- 4 years part-time experience with a local well-known retail florist).
- Do you have any formal floral education?
No. Lots of "hands-on" training. What I like to consider an apprenticeship. And still learning everyday!

- Do you operate from a commercial building or your residence?
I am home based. I have a large 3 car garage attached to my home. Inside my workspace I have a separate office area for client meetings as well as a large work area equipped with large (stainless steel) design table and 3 large 2 door coolers! There's always lots going on!
