On why they were raising the dove fee to $59.95. I asked that question at the conference and did not get a straight answer from anyone.
I think it is dirty trick from Teleflora to not give any notice on the increase to any members than just let it show up on the statement and mentioning it in the same statement about the increase.
I got a response from someone at teleflora who will remain nameless, that maybe it's because they have to many dove system and they had to hire more staff. TO me that statement doesnt make sense, if you have more people joining that the money must be coming in to pay for this service.
How can they justify a 100% increase in rate?
Will I get a answer? I am not sure. Just have to see i guess.
A disgruntle teleflora Daisy user who is going to have find a way to cut somewhere to pay for this.

We didn't get a straight answer from the Bird either, to be honest, I didn't expect one. It's par for the course lately.

The answer is they are taking big steps to improve support. Hiring a number of people, making big changes to reduce hold times that people have been complaining about.

Believe me, I wasn't too happy about it, and everyone with a bird on the shirt at OFC heard about it, too.

I am not very happy with that, they are now charging $.75 per order on all your incoming order. I figured out so far, year today cost me around $10.50 per order sent, based on total number of outgoing orders divided by the cost of monthly membership fee and dove fee. There has to be a cheaper to send an order. I am looking into the 1-800-send network. Anybody has any experience with them?

By the way, Teleflora are spending $50 million this year on marketing.

I noticed on my statement that there was a $0.00 amount for the Daisy Directory on disk. A call to the service centre said we were saving money on the directories and it was going to the Dove increase. Anyone else notice this?

Hi Amy, with flowerSoft you can set up your own little network of affiliated florists where you can call them or fax them the order and pay them with a credit card. You can work out with each florist what percentage of the order you will keep as the sending florist. It can be anywhere from 0% to 20%. Each affiliated florist can have their own individual percentage. If you are industrious enough, you can build your own little network of florists throughout the country! You will save all the wire service fees and the filling florist will get more money for the order when compared if you had sent it through a wire service and they will get their money right away.

Well, I was talking about a wire service free solution. However, if you would send me your list of members, I could include them in the flowerSoft florist directory database and it would make it infinitely easier for Amy and others to select your wire service over the other choices and save money while doing so!;)

Yes, I noticed too and was glad to see it was now included in the monthly maintenance fee.

For Sure!

We have set up Soft to be "F2F" Florist to Florist....and the cool thing is you can tell how many you do each month viewing your Monthly Sales Report.

We started doing this last May durning Mothers day since we have a few Florist Friends who love to BYPASS the WS'S.

And I like it too...money straight into the bank without 20% and 7% penaltys from TF.
