Did I or did Teleflora get the date wrong?

Around the 3rd May I received an e-mail from TF saying that they would flood Yahoo with advertising promoting TF services et cetera with special promos and more. I thought this was to have been on the 6th May.

I have been checking Yahoo off-and-in during the day and seen the occasional, small, advert for TF, sometimes alongside a larger -twice the size, more eye-catching one from FTD. At other times nothing TF, but 1-800 and yet more FTD adverts.

Did I get the date wrong or was that the "shock and awe" of TF that fizzled most unmemorably?

apparently you didn't participate in this marketing piece so it's not available for your eyes :) sorry, couldn't resist... long day

Teleflora was terrible this holiday. I am not the owner of the florist I work for, so I would personally not buy their containers in the first place, but we couldn't sell them even to Teleflora HQ! WTH. We turned the Dove back on this morning and it would only print 1 or 2 orders in an hour. Mercury (again, I don't know if I would have 2 wires but I am not the owner) was spewing orders like nothing else.

Although a little POed at FTD. The owner got a call and FTD said they were desperate to try to service our immediate area (i.e. within 5 miles of the shop) and said they could filter orders and send us only orders for our area and for whatever price we wanted. We told them $60. Not a single order came in for our immediate area and most were under $60 so we just started rejecting and shut the machine back off.

I think they had all their reps calling shops who'd turned off their machines... sounds like desperation. Considering they won't do a call forward when the machines are off.. their problem not mine. They could have easily tried to call an order in to me considering my suspend message stated "technical problems".. Their loss not mine.
