Got to meet Helen(Concord) and Linda(Anytime flowers) last night for dinner and their husbands...We had a wonderful time...

Linda I hope you got some rest for today after your miserable flight...Good luck...

Helen, your shop is nice.

All of your company as very nice and took my mind off the test tonight, dinner was fab also but second rate to the conversation, In my opinion!!!

Lori, It was great to meet you and Linda, too. (and Terry) It's always fun to share shop talk with people who get it! BTW what's the name of that sign magnet company again?

what..... no pics or video?! lol
We had planned to take pictures and then all 3 of us forgot....typical! Linda and Lori got some at symposium together and today when Linda stopped by the shop we got a few, too, so I will post them soon. We'd have to come visit you, Adam, if we wanted video!

Hi Helen,

The magnet company is Vistaprint. I've been trying to post the pic of us but have had no luck. I've never had trouble before so there must be something goofy, someone else had trouble posting pix, too. Although the file is clearly marked .jpg, I am told that it is not a valid file and I give up!

I can't get the pictures to load either. I thought it was just me but it's good to know it's not! I'm going to look at vistaprint soon. Thanks!

Well, the pix didn't line up the way I had intended........but at least they uploaded!

Picture of me in front of the "Cheers" bar. The inside looks nothing like the set of the series but this is the actual outside that they used. The next is of a memorial Terry and I happened upon on our walk back to the hotel. It is a memorial to 25 firefighters who lost their lives in the 70's during a freak building collapse. I was astonished to see that the coat and helmet were real, not molded out of concrete. Thought is was a recent loss. Apparently, that coat and helmet have been draped there since 9/11. Isn't that astonishing? They have just been laying there for NINE YEARS! Gives me hope for humanity.

The pic of Helen and I in her shop the day we were flying out. We brought a few of my evaluation pieces in hopes that Helen could find use for them. She is actually wearing the "flowers to wear on the shoulder" piece I had to do.
