I heard a great quote yesterday , was wondering if anybody could tell me who the author was, I didn't catch the name. "If you're worried about the price of education , then you should consider the cost of ignorance"

A wonderful quote and a truism...however, I don't know who said it.

It was from a famous canadian author Luc D. Morrissette
Born in quebec, he was a quebec education minister.

It is a brilliant insight in a short sentence.

Much like the "author"....short and brilliant. ;)

A search of google turned up many results. Apparently, it's a phrase commonly used in marketing, training and educational material.

A good education would likely save much of the planet. Terrorism is bred out of ignorance...keep them stupid and feed them what we want them to know or do...inner city to Iraq and all places in between.

"If you think education is expensive, try ignorance."
-- Derek Curtis Bok (b. 1930), American educator, University administrator, President, Harvard

I think this is the same quote, hope this helps!

Way to go Missy! Smart people live in London. ;)
