When did domain cloaking become the in thing ?
A customer just turned me onto this one after a search for us.

They all offer anonymous regiatration now.

It was instituted *supposedly* in an effort to stop spambots from harvesting email and registration from domain registrations.

There are legitimate reasons for using it, and I now usually choose that option when I register a new one.

I have fairly tight spam filters yet I still get well over 200 spams per day cuz my email address has been on my site (and with Network Solutions) for over 10 years.

Yea, Kev... cloaking can be a useful tool! Like when Floristdetective.com was registered to throw the wires off my trail
