FTD called us earlier this week to say that a shop in Miami was claiming that we had not paid them for an order which we had sent them in May. An order sent FTD and we hadn't paid for it???? What happened to incoming orders being reported and the sending florist paying via statement?? We were running hard in the shop, I had my hands full of invoices, the shrink wrap was running dangerously low with several fruit baskets to make, it was the week before Chirstmas, and someone calls about something like that? I was stunned speechless for a moment or two, then asked the FTD person to call me next week when I would have more time to figure out what she was talking about. (Pardon the preposition at the end of that sentence...no time or much inclination to repair the grammar.)
