Whatever it is that has got you peeved...
at FTD is between you and FTD!!, and the same holds true for Telflora, and Blossom's Network, and Florists Interlink, and taxes, and highway congestion, and world peace!
Here is MY perspective...MINE ALONE!!
I raised an issue about FTD Retrans...we ALL were surprised, confounded, in denial, and disbelief.
When I asked for some simple help in proceeding with this issue with FTD Retrans...I recieved ZERO RESPONSE, therefore, it was not, nor EVER WILL BE an issue any more...it's dead!
Now,you ask a question about the "morality" of asking for help from FTD with ONE hand, while attempting your best stabbing motion at FTD with the other, and here is the reason why I believe few of us would contemplate trying to destroy FTD....this organization, with all it's faults, loopholes, subversive and subterranian culture, is THE ONLY WIRE SERVICE, that comes througfh time, and time, and time again, when WE, THE FLORISTS, get off our fat asses, organize functions, plan events, have serious (REAL) problems,. and FTD comes through EVERY TIME we ask...EVERY TIME!!
On MANY occasions, even you have witnessed for yourself, IF FTD was there, most often FTD picked up the tab, even for NON FTD participants.
FTD holds a convention...offers free room, offers free services, offers, ridiculously low cost attendance ratios, and puts EVERYTHING IT HAS, into making sure YOU, the FTD FLORIST is impressed, and at least, made to feel welcome, AND included!!
Teleflora has a LONG WAY TO GO, and does little to nothing of the above!
WE, the florists pay heavily as members to be a small part of each organization...which one gives the MOST BACK???
YOU Luc, organize a Northern Florists seminar, FTD is THERE, we organize an Ontario Florists Conference, and FTD is THERE, our florist friends in The States have state wide conventions, and FTD is THERE...and MORE TO THE POINT, FTD often ante's up many of the associated expenses, Teleflora DOES NOT.
So, don't feel bad about asking Frank Stornelli, or ANY of his fine crew for help with something you want to present to florists, in your neck of the woods, BECAUSE, he KNOWS that FTD will back his decisons to help YOU, the FTD FLORIST, and Frank DOES NOT use some weird "politics" like TF does to explain his actions/inactions....Frank, and Carolyn, and Tim, and FTD, and the rest of our direct contact team, are MORE than willing to help, as long as you treat them as equals.
By the way, when you call Frank tomorrow for help with your meeting up north, wish him the very best on his rapidly upcoming wedding day...he's as nervous as a 12 year old, going out on his first date, and I would be too!!...if I was going to marry such a beautiful and smart young lady!
Call them tomorrow..at least with FTD, you DO get your money back, in one form or another!!
