Need some help. I have a bride who wants draping of the sweetheart table's overlayer with rose petals or tiny buds placed within the folds. I need to give her a price and I'm clueless because I have no picture to go by. It's the mechanics/labor of the project that I'm concerned with. Can't even find one on the internet. Don't even know what to google...
I actually had it done to my cake table 20 years ago but I can't find a picture. Can anyone share some pics of this concept? Your input is much appreciated!

As always Tracy, I love your input. Not quite what I had in mind though but that's a good start. The bride had a picture and of course she lost it but said the overlayer was ruched (sp?) from tabletop to the floor with fresh flowers within.
You know the photo probably came from Grace Ormonde and cost a gazillion dollars to replicate.

I hope to see a picture of this when you have done it. At first I was thinking fishing line garlands of rose petals or buds... but that doesn't sound like what you are describing.

Go to wildflowerlinen.com or wildflowerlinens.com which ever it is...

They have lots of beautiful linens and ideas. We used to lease the linens here, but we don't anymore... But they are beautiful! And they may have some ideas.

Once the overlay cloth is "pinned and draped", just bend down and toss some petals
in it. (put your hand between the long tablecloth and the pinned up overlay). Its kind of a little pocket back there!Takes
one bunch of roses for lightly done, 2 bunches for heavier.
Will you be doing the draping (or some people call scalloping)?

I hope you can see in this pic, we did not do this we just did the table centres. This is something i am hoping to be able to offer, in the process of finding a good wholesale muslin supplier as i think you have to throw it after use.
