This Lieberman-Warner Climate Security Act, (S. 2191) CAP and TRADE bill is another debacle just like Ethanol, which will KILL the US Coal Mining Industry in the United States, add more TAXES to the already ridiculous price of fuel, and send more US jobs overseas.
If WE, THE PEOPLE, don't let these Washington ELITISTS know that, we refuse to be held hostage by the Saudi's and their Oil Cartel spurred by SPECULATORS, they will continue to try and stick Legislation down our throats which will put us into a THIRD WORLD ECONOMIC STATUS.
This planet is 4.6 BILLION YEARS OLD and it has WARMED and COOLED thousands of times and before Man even walked this Earth. It's called THE SUN, and the sun will continue to do what our Sun has always done.
Al Gore uses VOODOO science by perpetuating the Global Warming Myth and suggesting that HUMAN BEINGS are to blame. After which, any of the restrictions that he and the Sierra Club wants to place on us, will only result in more TAXES and more losses in our Freedoms.
In effect, they are trying to lead us down the road to COMMUNISM by using a WARM, FUZZY, and what appears to be, AN EARTH FRIENDLY GO GREEN program of total restrictions on the use of all of our needs for energy.
Their eventual goal is to tell all of us how warm or cool our homes must be, how much electricity and gasoline we're going to be allowed to use, what kind of cars we're allowed to drive, and how often and how far we can drive them.
This country has more natural gas, shale oil, and soon to found new sources of energy than all of the Middle East, Venezuela, and Canada combined.
We just need to FORCE our elected officials to KILL THE MORATORIUM on Natural Gas on Oil Exploration in Anwr, Alaska, and off our Pacific and Atlantic Coasts as well as in our own Gulf coast region where the Mexican Government and with the help of the Chinese are drilling into now.
The area in Anwr which we need to drill in, is a small as a doormat is, as compared to the size of a football field and less than half of one percent of this pristine environment where nobody goes anyway. Besides, the Caribou loves the Alaskan Oil Pipeline as it provides both shelter and warmth for them during bad weather, during which, they are happy to make more little baby Caribou.
Even bigger joke on WE, THE PEOPLE, is when the Senate tried to make our US Oil Companies out to be the BAD GUYS by suggesting that, their WINDFALL PROFITS need to taxed more.
One oil executive pointed out to the Senator that, the PROFITS for US Oil Companies amount to a net 4% after taxes, while the Government's WINDFALL TAXES amount to over 12%.
So, ask yourself the question of: WHO IS GOUGING WHO HERE, the most?
