A customer just called me after talking to fds.com for a Thursday delivery for her elderly (88-90) parents anniversary.

For Thursday - they told her they could only get her drop shipped flowers.

She said she didn't want them to have to put them together - she wanted a delivery guy to bring them in a vase so they could put them directly on the table. dotcon tried hard enough to drive her to drop ship she backed out (and called me! yeah!).

They have a 2 members in the city of delivery. Hobe Sound, Fl. And another ASB.

Why?

They really don't want orders going to member florists?

Seems that drive for higher profit got in the way of them getting the order. This is perhaps becoming SOP for orders that have a delivery date that gives them time to drop ship.

I admit to being surprised that drop ship profits mean THAT much to them that they would lose the sale.

I'll gladly have it, so thank you fds.com. :yourock:

that is because their 3.2143295 times mark-up is not reaching their goal of 30.134569839459857374859300976 pct COGS as a percent of Gross Sales. ;)

HMMMMMM, let MEE SEE HEAR ANDY?...................

What's that YOU SAY!

FDS is driving THEIR CUSTOMERS away from THEIR MEMBER FLORISTS and to their DROP SHIP FARM or GIFT DIRECT?

NAW! That couldn't possibly be true, could it?

Must be just another one of their VALUE ADDED $ERVICES, ey? lol

I'm also wondering if that's a SIGN ON or SIGN OFF member program and doo you have to pay for the additional ALSO-NOT-SERVED BY A REAL FLORIST listings in those optional add on zip codes?

OOPS! I almost forgot about YOUR STRATEGY of USING THEM!

What's that like? You captured this ONE ORDER out from under their usual BAIT and SWITCH strategy from REAL FLORIST over to FARM DIRECT.

Wondering what their percentage of historical WINS WERE over YOU, MEE, and the rest of us WEE BEES, in their process of ELIMINATING THE REAL FLORIST from the FRESH FLOWER and GIFT GAME? :eves:

Ah, no matter though! You, and the others, are going to USE THEM, more than THEY USE YOU and your monthly passive streams of revenues you send to them, help to fund even more of their BAIT and SWITCH Consumer Marketing programs. :FTDme

Let me know, at what point, YOU CAN READ THE HANDWRITING ON THE WALL! lol

As to the question of SLICKMEISTER's ORAL SEX and did that comply with the DEFINITION of HAVING SEX? Accordingly to Monica and the evidence she was able to produce on her dress, I'd have to say H-E-L-L YEAH!

Regarding the legal definition of the word "IS" like in "IS YOU HAVING S-E-X WITH THAT WOMAN?", I defer back to the evidence found on Monica's dress.

However, and if I were the defense attorney in that case, I would've brought in an expert witness such as a urologist who had, as one of their specialties, the EFFECTS OF Peyronie's disease.

Accordingly, his testimony might go something like this:

Your Honor: Based on my years of treating Peyronie's disease, it is my professional opinion that, SLICK WILLY CANNOT POSSIBLY BE A STRAIGHT SHOOTER during the normal course of oral sex.

After which, and as the defense attorney, I would then ask the court to declare Monica's dress as inadmissible evidence since, the path of the trajectory of the evidence in question, would not be possible, and based on my expert witness' testimony.

After which, I would suggest to the court that: I IS NOW GOING TO CHECK THE WALLS in the OVAL ORIFICE for more evidence to substantiate our claim, thus proving that, MY CLIENT IS INNOCENT and based on those facts. lol
