A customer just called me after talking to fds.com for a Thursday delivery for her elderly (88-90) parents anniversary.
For Thursday - they told her they could only get her drop shipped flowers.
She said she didn't want them to have to put them together - she wanted a delivery guy to bring them in a vase so they could put them directly on the table. dotcon tried hard enough to drive her to drop ship she backed out (and called me! yeah!).
They have a 2 members in the city of delivery. Hobe Sound, Fl. And another ASB.
Why?
They really don't want orders going to member florists?
Seems that drive for higher profit got in the way of them getting the order. This is perhaps becoming SOP for orders that have a delivery date that gives them time to drop ship.
I admit to being surprised that drop ship profits mean THAT much to them that they would lose the sale.
I'll gladly have it, so thank you fds.com. :yourock:
