My name is Anne Peacock, I own and manage EdenScapes. We are a florist, indoor plant store, and gift shop. We do plant maintenance for local businesses and monthly accounts for flowers. We work out of our home, but have walk-ins as well.
We (my husband and I) bought the store when it was downtown Port Angeles in early 2006 and then the economy dropped. So we decided to move the business home in the middle of 2007. It was the best thing we could have done for ourselves. While others struggle in the area trying to make rent, we are paying ourselves.
We're building our business and are getting many compliments as we go. The repeat business is coming back. The only drawback, we don't get the walk in customers as much as we did downtown. But it's worth it to be home and get many things done.
