OK,here goes for the dummy of the month question. I'm just so new at things...I have beautiful designs at the things that I can do...but I really would like advice on what maybe the safest way to attach the centerpiece to the eiffel tower vase for my wedding. The centerpieces are not real heavy or large but Im only renting out the vases and I would like for it to be sturdy also...so any and all advice is so appreciated.

If it is the skinny necked ones, you can use either a grande bouquet holder and wrap the stem of the holder in ivy with some going down into the vase, or use a spot of kling and use a clear lomey...8 inches and sit it right on top. Using the Tuscany vases, if they are still around allows a wider top and more stability. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much

There were to many choices to choose from. With having really experimenting much with them all, it was kind of spooky. So again....thank you.

And again...I say thank you..I need all the help I can get.I have the frosted 24" vases....The arrangements will be curly willow......fern...orange and hot pink gerberas in a simple tall slim design. 15 centerpieces in all.Thank you

How many flowers? If it isn't too many, why not floratape them together and stick them in the a vase of water or forego the expense of the holder.

Just another way of thinking about it.............;)

Well it sure is...It's 13 to 15 gerberas..So it's possible it could work...I was just a little unsure of myself with breaking the gerberas...LOL...I have to Tina Proof these things..haha.I have a couple of weeks but I will be investigating...Thanks again

Just and FYI !!

Make sure your site allows them, some hotels don't any more, because of the unlevel floors and if so put a little weight in the bottom of them, I haven't used these in years, kind of scare me,

Bouquet holders. you ain't gettin no 15 gerbs in that neck.

good luck

I agree with everyone else. I usually use bouquet holders if a bride wants an arrangement on top of a thin necked vase. If it’s a wide necked vase I use the clear dishes sold for that purpose. To stop the vases being too top heavy I ask the brides to choose from a selection of glass pebbles to go into the bottom of the vase. As I rent all my vases out I get these glass pebbles back to use again.
At one wedding I did the flowers for, they still had the table arrangements from the day before waiting for the florist to collect, they were square necked vases. Being nosy I had a look at them and the florist had used a circle of cellophane surrounding a block of oasis pushed into the top of the vase. I guess that was the cheapest way to do it. Good luck with your wedding.

I love this site...I haver gotten such good advice and help here.I will send some pics over when it is all said and done.I appteciate everyone.

I have not done this yet, because we use pilsner type vases more, but it sounds like a great idea.

Lomey dish, with the attachment and a 24"clear tube attached beneath the dish, in the appropriate diameter to fit in the vase. Drop it in the vase, and it remains there - make your arr's in the same sized Lomey dish, and drop them onto the first dish. Voila.
a previous post a few mos back: Tracys method works when there are lots of stems. 9" dish w/ stick glued on is stored for future weddings/events. Guests can take flower in arr dish with them. Debbie

we've used both the o'bowls and the lomey boc holders. To transport/store we take an old flower box (top or bottom or both if flimsy) stab holes in the box and insert the boc stem or o'bowl peg thru the hole. Works great.

I would recommend some type of weight in the vase
