Hi and thanks for your interest in Flowerchat. In reading your intro I see your business name is Jette Flowers, and yet your say you're a contractor working out of your home. Please explain the difference for me. Thanks.

My bad, i put the name of the florist i am working with, i don't have any business name since i am not incorporated and work as a independant contractor.

Freelancer, that's the word i have trying to find instead of contractor... :mobile:

I am starting (like in first client) as an SEO freelancer. I do this one for free or, maybe as profit sharing of the business generated from online leads and/or sales.
 
Ok, I'm really confused. Are you a floral designer? What do you do for your clients besides offer free stuff. ;)

SEO == Search Engine Optimisation. I am doing referecing for the website (that is not yet done), trying to get it ranking in belgium for flowers related keywords. Somebody else will be doing the website.
So far, we are in the planning stages, and don't know if the website will be purely presence (address, map, catalog, etc..) or e-commerce.
 
So, you are a floral specific web person. What do you hope to gain from being a member of Flowerchat?

We do tend to ask a lot of questions as we are trying very hard to maintain the professional integrity of the board so we appreciate your taking the time to answer.

I am not doing only florists, my first client just happen to be one. I would like to be able to discuss strategies that others have implemented, get opinions about new ideas and so on...
 
I'm hoping that other members will jump in here and help out. To be honest I don't know enough about what you do to make an educated decision.

Only thing is that the first client "happens to be a florist".
