Eluminators

I have 10 rechargeable 8" eluminators and need 10 more. When I called my wholesaler, I was told that they now have battery powered ones that take 3 AA batteries. I haven't used mine much, but the wholesaler claims they stopped getting the rechargeable ones because they don't hold a charge for long.

Anyone have more info about these? They are pricey, so I want to make the right decision here.

News to me. I have the rechargeable ones also. I haven't had any trouble with them. I'm going to check with my suppliers on Tuesday and see what the scoop is. Very interesting

We've sold many of the rechargeable ones, and we rent them thru our national rental program. No one has ever complained that they don't hold a charge.

Acolytes keeps coming out with new products... and like any normal company, they encourage their resellers to encourage the new products. Doesn't mean the old ones are bad. We just got in the "new and exciting" submersibles. Its a three in one product. More expensive that the old ones. And I can't stand them. Give me the old ones any day of the week.

I have had a recaharable one at home for a couple f years now. Benn on more than off. Works great.
I'e been using the 3 battery ones at work for a while now...seem ok, but I don't like having to toss batteries all the time.
