Sickness all week so my friend isn't well enough to go to CT and now another 10-15" of snow tomorrow.....we're already over 140" here, 160" just above us.
Hubby breathing a big sigh of relief that I'm not on the road... (he really just doesn't want to cook or take the dog out) Record cold temps last night....and just below 10 right now (but rising as the wind direction is changing with the storm approaching).....
And the biggest enough?? My oldest just told me I'm going to be a Nanny again (October if all goes well)........Told her she'd have to tell her father, I'm not !! Hmmmm has it been a cold snowy month in Maine?? :)

Chin up, chickie. I am not complaining about the weather again, in honor of you. Can't help with the rest, but I wish you the very best. Maybe a florida vacation away from all of it, and a nice summery cocktail????

We got hit yesterday. Look at it this way, March is coming in like a lion. You know the rest.

Congrats on the pending baby. :)

Rhonda - All day yesterday I wondered about you being on the road! I'll miss seeing you guys, but I too am relieved you're not traveling!

(too bad to miss the Conn. Show - but you've got a killer Maine State Florists' Show coming right up :)

REALLY REALLY REALLY SICK OF THIS WEATHER

got 6+ inches of snow Friday morning in a 6hr span. Not bad the lake effect stuff, light and fluffy. Then last night in 2 hours 4" again. (surprise MR meteorologist! WTH)

bad new. Friday morning the tractor/plow wouldn't start - needs the starter rebuilt will not be done until next week.
So shoveled the entrances and the front parking spots by hand. not so bad remember light and fluffy. (we get lots of turnaround traffic that beats down the lot by the road.
This morning off to shovel again and da da the STUPID SHOVEL broke!!!!!!!! at least the front part is done.

And in the press last night....... no snow shovels to be found in the stores

Good news Tulip bunches have been flying out of here along with anything else that looks springy.

wish our shovels were broke, as it is the new snowblower is working great. Roof shoveling is the name of the game today after the clean up from another over 12" snow.....
These are my back yard or what's left of it. One is looking toward my old walk-in attached to my old shop. The other is my back yard behind the garage.

WOW, Here I the South, we whine when we get in the 20's at night. My skin is just not thick enough to handle the cold like that. My hats off to ya, I'll just keep my self in the south!!!! Sometimes it gets to cold for me here. Then think about really moving more south, I like it HOT, HOT,HOT!

Well heck we live in Michigan. today it's RAINING!

I can see brown grass now and if we do get more snow we will now have a place to put it again as the piles are quickly melting, melting, melting.

Sounds like the low we are experiencing falls all the way thru Georgia. You all be careful down in tornado alley.

I will probably get all kinds of hate mail for this....but we are enjoying mid-70's temperatures and some rain scheduled for tommorrow, but clear, sunny and low to mid 70's remainder of the week.
