ryan, i hope this post is not in violation of any rules of board conduct. if it is, please delete and i will understand.
i recently returned to the floral industry after a brief hiatus. after 30+ years i was burned out. the only thing that was going to convince me otherwise was someone/something that was as passionate about the industry as i was.
if you get a minute, go to www.rioroses.com. click on 2004 pep rally. see how the rio roses/equiflor team gets pumped up for the valentines holiday. from the management team...to the admin types....to the box pullers.
i can tell you...the enthusiasm is real.
this post is not really about my company. its about what you can do to make a difference in your business. don't expect your employees to jump up and down if you refuse to. its okay to show some excitement. in fact, its contagious!
have a great holiday!!!!
