Attention ball fans: Are you game for a fantasy baseball league?

Anyone intersted in participating in a Fantasy Baseball Leauge for FlowerChat members? There is no cost to join, but we'll need at least 10 people to keep this interesting. There is a max of 20 teams per league, so if we have more than 20 people interested I'll split the list into two leagues.

For those who have never played, here's a quick summary:

1) Draft your team from a list of real major league players - or let the computer draft for you if you're not sure.

2) Decide which players to "dress" each day.

3) Scoring and ranking is based on the results posted by each major league player. You get points based on how well your players perform.

4) Sign, release and trade players with other team owners.

This really is a lot of fun, and doesn't require a huge amount of time. Please respond to the poll and post any questions in this thread. The poll will only be open for a couple days so that we can get started with the draft.

I'll Find a Better Way to Play

Some times I wish I was a florist only instead of florist/spring greenhouse/Christmas/Casual Furniture. On the other hand I liked the $3,500 quote I gave yesterday and will have a 50% gross profit margin if it goes through.
 
Not into Baseball myself, BUT I am into games and gambling :)

thanks for the invite to play the game, but I'm not really familiar with baseball. I Only really know Aussie Rules. So I think its best I sit this one out and watch and learn instead.

I'm liking this team already. Can we call them "Backsides in Motion"? You know instead of lame names like Cardinals, Blue Jays, some kind of sock colour. And of course, well fitting uniforms to round things out nicely. ;)

Of course the trading criteria might be different. Based almost entirely on how they look coming, going, swinging, walking... you get the idea.

Now where did I put those instructions for the "Ladies" *touch football* fantasy league....:grovel:

Do we get to choose the "pec"ing order of the team too? Man is it getting hot in here, or is just me...

As to how do we play... anyway we want to honey... it's fantasy land!

Note:
Please register your team as soon as possible to prepare for the draft.

Draft day is March 31st, at 4PM EST.
** You do not have to be "present" for the draft. **

If you are not planning on attending the draft, it is suggested that you consider pre-ranking the available players so the automated draft system can chose your team for you. Scoring starts on April 2nd, the first day of the regular season. This will give us all time to make post-draft moves to get our rosters in order.
