Farewell to a "Golden Girl"

I just saw that Bea Arthur died at her home today. She was 86. She died from cancer.

Growing up Golden girls was one of my favorite shows. She will be missed.

Wow... I'm so sad to hear that. My friends (three of us) always thought we were golden girls in training. It was a show I loved and I still miss.

She was one cool broad! I loved her in the Golden Girls. I vaguely remember har as Maude. I can't believe she was 86.

I'm sad too to hear that .They were a great bunch and always had such a laugh.Some of the storylines were hilarious.I loved the way they sat around the kitchen table with cheesecake or icecream or choc cake and talked things over- so natural.Am I getting on but I think the older shows were really good,easy to watch and not as dark as some of todays ones ?
