The best seller I ever experienced for Father's day was when I was in Charleston. The shop owner had somehow wrangled a shipment of Authentic German pewter lidded beer steins.
Those things sold like lemonade on a scorching summer day. Thanks God she was able to get a second shipment in......If I remember right - we sold close to a hundred beer steins.....and I seem to remember the price back then ( circa 1985 ) with flowers was hovering around the 75.00 mark.
We're doing a Father's Day "snack attack" in a ceramic popcorn container with a variety of snack such as peanuts, licorice, and of course a package of microwave popcorn. Not a high ticket item, but I think they will be popular for other occasions besides Father's Day. We sold a couple last week for teachers' gifts.
I am doing some car baskets which include a box of chocolates, tire gauge, window squeege, large sponge with liquid car wash. Wrapped in celo with a big bow.
