I have been asked to give flower classes for a local organization. They have asked what my fees might be. I have given presentations but have never charged. Would like to ask if anyone has presented classes for a fee and what fees were charged. Info will be appreciated as this is a new territory for me.

How much prep will you need? Planning time would include devising lesson plans, calculating and order the materials and receiving and conditioning the products. They may also expect hand-outs. There's a lot more work in the planning phase than the actual class presentation.
Do you anticipate using the class primarily as a PR vehicle or will the attendees be from towns outside your service area?
Is the class being used a a fund raiser?
All these factors can weigh on your fee schedule.
