I was on a pilgrimage in central Italy a few years ago, and field after field of gold was just amazing!

A few years ago, on the way to Sturgis SD, it was like the same thing, both sides of the road, Sunflowers as far as you could see...

Cool thing is, in the morning they are facing East, and in the evening they face West....

The connection between the Tour de France and flowers is a good one. For those who aren't familiar, the cyclists are presented a bouquet of flowers and a colored jersey signifying a win or symbol of leader for a particular stage or category. There are several stages of the race, so a number of interesting bouquets can be seen at the podium.

As I always say, if it makes people smile, why not do it!

As for Mikey, he is seeing his field of sunflowers in ITALY at the moment. He is returning on Tues.
