I like to explain to everyone using resellers for their flower purchase that "Service Fee" they pay is a fee reseller charges to find a florist on their behalf. I also like to tell the people that they appear smart enough to know how to use Google, and I also offer that if they ever have a problem locating a reliable florist to call me and I will help them out.
Today, two people asked me to recommend a florist in another town. Needles to say I obliged.
It takes a long time but we florists, need to keep educating consumers to save our beloved floral industry.
