Fired a client tonight

I don't often get this angry, but...

I have side business, Pet and House sitting (it helps me survive and I love dogs). A woman called me last week to book me for this coming weekend, Friday night to Monday morning.

She just called to cancel, because (add a giggle here), "my neighbour isn't going away so she can look after them". She then added, "I can't believe I'm doing this to you again." Yes this is the second time she has booked and cancelled.

This time I told her I was not happy as I had turned down other opportunities due to her booking. I also told her, "because you've done this to me in the past, I have no choice but to advise you not to call me again. Have a lovely weekend, goodbye". The words in my head would make a sailor blush.

I'm pissed off. I count on this money for a reason.

You're good to stand up for yourself. I have a customer that tries to bully me all the time. You all know how much I am about customer service, I will do just about anything for a customer. But I have had my fill of this woman treating me like dirt. I stood up for myself twice in the last week to this woman. My manager is not happy with me. I don't care. There ARE breaking points.

She messed you over. You could have taken another job this weekend.

V, this woman obviously has no respect for other people's time which to me is totally infuriating. On a business level, to get rid of her is the best option imho.

She will continue to mess you about and also piss you off, hope you feel better tomorrow.;)

On another note, what afab job. I wish i could find someone like you to mind my bassetts well.
