I am new to the floral industry and want to learn more about how to start up my own floral business. I also want to learn more about how to condition flowers and more about different designs. I want to know the ins and outs on eventually owning my own flower shop.

I'm in search for an outlet to ask my many design questions, business questions and flower questions.

So Jackie, are you working for Flirtation Flowers or is that the name of your future business? Please tell us a bit about your background in floral design and/or business training if any. What makes you want to own a flower shop? The best advice I would give anyone, experienced designer or novice, is to work for someone else for a few years. There is a ton to learn and reading will only teach you so much. You won't have a realistic understanding of anything until you've been in the trenches!
