I'm looking at making large floral orbs for my son's wedding. If you have done this before what products did you use?

oh did that years ago for a Wedding when i worked in Toronto!
we did a rounded look on top of a styrofoam flat disk. the flowers came out enough that you couldn't see the disk and we had a heavy fishing line with a weight to keep them in place in the pool. the problem with that was the sloped edge of the pool they only wanted to be in a small area in the middle and in the flat shallow end.
We tried them with no weight but the wind and the movement of the water kept shoving them to the side of the pool.

I did it that way also the half dome sticking out the top. I made the client turn off the filter and circulation system. I also used fishng line and weights but I got in the pool and measured the depth of the pool with my body/and a tape measure and than my husband cut the line to that length. We didn't leave a lot of extra line so they would stay in place better. The only thing that got us by the end of the night was it got alittle more windier. Work out well thou
