I am a lifetime retired florist and currently a member of the Board of Directors of US Retail Flowers based in Lebanon, PA. I built a multi million dollar retail flower business and wrote a book Retailing Flowers Profitably while also conducting 75 seminars around the country and Canada on successful flower shop management. For a period of time I was involved in SAF and served on its Board of Directors and was chairman of the American Florists Marketing Committee (AFMC) for a period of four years. For fourteen years I was a regular columnist for Florists' Review and returned recently to author a series of 7 articles entitled "Florists in Crisis."
