We have a bride from the UK who wants 'floral gems' added to her bouquet. Apparently it's all the rage in England, anyone familar with this product?

Yuppers. We use them all the time. www.bouquetjewels.com. The company is called Flora Europa. You can register for a wholesale account online. I use the things for just about everything from brides to homecoming to birthday arrangements. They are worth their weight in gold and very, very well made.

Hope this helps!

question

with the bouquet jewels How are they attached? Are they on A fine Wire or what.

we have been use Svwarski Crystal and componants from fire mt gems. This way they can be restrung into a bracelet, necklace whatever for a keepsake.
(we offer that servcie too).

I liked the look of some of the bouquet jewels stuff, but reuse of the end product is important for us.

thanks

THose are freaking awesome and I forsee high end corsages. Anyone done that? We'd love to let the other shops in town do the 300 $12 corsages and we do 50 $50 up ones. We'ver tried to price ourselves out of making them several times in our history but we get a following cuz we do them different, and this could be the key to the cash register!

Put them on one of those crystal wristlets with jewels in it? Oh hell yeah big bux

We discovered this company right before our first prom three years ago. I bought a truck load and priced the big ones at 9.95/ea and the tiny ones at 3.95 each. I have people come in to this day and request them. They are a HUGE add on for weddings and corsage work. We also sell the pocket squares for the guys that are just ribbon, wire, and the long stemmed jewels. Those are priced at 29.95 and they sell like hot cakes. We also use one single big jewel in the middle of a wrist corsage, again, the kids love em!

For brides we sell more of the monogram letters than anything else. I can't say enough about the company or their product. It is a little more pricey than DIY crystals but, I just don't have the time to wire them up myself.

Inka,
It depends on which ones you buy. The great big ones are on a long metal stick to be inserted in between flowers in a bouquet. The little ones are on a little metal post like an ear ring, without the back, of course.

The add-on's are what have built our homecoming/prom business. We got 60% of the homecoming flowers for our local school this year and we just got five more orders this morning. The kids love the lights, jewels, deco. wire, etc. that we use. We have stepped it up with our "BLING!" and the kids don't care to pay for it !!

Well, back to the grind I go :)
