We have been wire service free for the last few months! Today I got a call from Floral Source, offering free membership through Mother's Day.
Has anyone dealt with them? Is it really only $69 month total??
Sounds too good to be true!
Any input is much appreciated.

Things that sound "too good to be true" usually are.

You've been wire service free for a few months, so how did that work out for Thanksgiving and Christmas?

"Free Memberships" tend to somehow morph into unending nightmares.

We dropped Teleflora in the summer, because they just weren't sending. Bloomnet just kept getting more and more greedy-I should have been charging them low sending fees-we were getting next to nothing!
Thanksgiving and Christmas were terrible! Which is why I am toying around with the idea. Last Valentine's Day about 55% of our orders were wire in, if it's anything like Thanksgiving and Christmas,-yikes!

for all of you, thinking on the same lineage, be careful what you "ask" for....IF the volume of orders is NOT there, joining "another" wire service will just deplete MORE of your hard earned local money revenues, whatever they are.
Take a close look at your incooming orders...were they "generated" by other B&M shops, or were they captured by online venues, and IF the latter, consider how many of those orders automatically became "direct ship"......do your homework,just like Mom used to say....
