Fay was bad enough, but what did you do to deserve Gustav so soon?

Seems that the central and eastern parts of the state were most effective, this other one coming is anyones guess. We get ready and wait it out.

What a difference 12 hours makes... Gustav is now a hurricane... sustained 85 mph...

Our prayers are for all who are in the path of these storms.

We're receiving lots and lots of rain from the remnants of Fay now. We need the rain terribly, and it's coming down so hard and fast that we'll have flooding. Nothing compared to what Florida suffered.

Have lots of standing water in the swale at the end of my driveway. The ground is so saturated that I'm praying "G" goes by way of the Ucatan... can't bear to watch the radar. This #$%^ is getting OLD or else I am.

Yea, and it looks like it is going to hit the Gulf of Mexico....we will wait and see.....

Well it's looking like I WAS WRONG (yes I admit it)...

It's looking more like Nawlins is the target again of Gustav...with Hannah on his heels and two more storms lined up like a freight train...

Personally, I think God is fed up with New Orleans and has decided to take it out permanently! At least the French Quarter anyway....
