Okay, we're going for it again!

Saturday September 27, 2008 - I think we're hoping for a 6pm meeting time, but we'll update if it's different.

We're bringing in a new face to our Flowerchat get-togethers, and hopefully she'll be signing up in the next few days. Dianne/NavyBrat arranged with Georgianne Vinicombe to meet at her shop; she was very excited at the prospect of meeting up with like-minded florists. So we will be meeting at Georgianne's shop,

We're hoping to head over to Tortugas Mexican Village, which hubby and I think is the BEST mexican food in NJ. It's BYO, so if you want to have wine or tequila, bring it along.

I really hope some of you can make this! Please RSVP to me or Dianne, so we can get a general head count, and if anyone from my neck of NJ needs a ride, we're happy to carpool.

Still time to join us tonight! My cell 609-230-2225! I think we're even gonna indulge in some alcohol this evening! It's Tracy and Mike's Anniversary and we will be toasting to a few birthdays as well! Hopefully, MikeyPieFace will have his camera and Tracy will post a few pics of us!

I know Frankie The Tulip is coming - new members from Tuckerton Diane & Frank.

Just a preview - yesterday was Mikeypieface's 40th birthday, so Perry(alldayforplay) and Sharon gave him a little b-day ribbing. Maybe I can get him to wear his tiara again tonight ...:rolleyes:

Now I talked Jean into coming too ... she was onboard once I mentioned Mexican Village (because Mike brags so much about it). So we've got five from our end of the county ... see you there!
 
Another informative and fun night - we started out at Monday Morning Flowers & Balloons in Princeton and had a terrific tour of their very impressive operation. After having a busy wedding day, Georgianne and her husband Kevin weren't able to join us for dinner, but she was gracious enough to spend some quality time talking with all of us. We all came away with something to think about after speaking with Georgianne about her marketing ideas and passion for her business.

Headed to Mexican Village for some good food, and Joukje brought the vino, so we all had a great time laughing and making a general jovial ruckus, especially with Dianne's always colorful storytelling about her dating adventures.

Next time I think we're headed out to the Philly area so stay tuned! :)

Once again...another delightful evening with fellow florists! We always have a great time getting together! The next meeting will be scheduled for early November in the Philadelphia area. Tracy, (our designated secretary) will post the info as soon as possible. Sure hope to see some new faces!

Trac-the pics rock...great selection! It's always a hoot spending time with you and my boyfriend, Mikey, (better known as your hubby) I adore ya both! It was delightful seeing Jean again, (be sure to call me with any advice on how not to kill my boyfriend) Frank & Diane are just the sweetest couple, and what can I say about my bff, Joukje...we are trouble together!

Georgianne and Kevin have a beautiful shop and are so dedicated to their business. Thanks for hosting the event....your shop is gorgeous! Hope you can join us for dinner next time.
 
Looks like you kids had a blast! I'm so sorry I missed it. We were hanging with Mickey and friends down in Florida. Keep me posted for the next outing. Dad and I had a great time at Florist Night Out II. Looking forward to IV.
