So I just found out that there is a florist shop owner on the upcoming edition of Amazing Race! Haven't heard any details, but hope to learn more about it!

We just caught an Amazing Race episode tonight and realized Rachel Rosales (the florist) is the owner of Costa Mesa Florist and one of Phil's former students.
The store is WS-Free. Rachel and her mom were the folks passing out the Fed Up With Teleflora? flyers at the Cal State Floral Assn. meeting last year.

Had a chance to talk to Rachel today and blogged about it. She's working on some Amazing Race-inspired designs for their website.

Only 4 teams left and Rachel & TK are in a hole!
I love the Amazing Race and have been pulling for "our" florist racer. They dug themselves a big hole last week and need to pull out a great leg of tonight's segment to make the top three.
I would really like to know how long it took Rachel to find the real flower in that silk flower stall last week.....

I was wondering the same thing. My daughter and I are pretty sure that she would have been able to do it quite quickly but there were a lot of flowers there.

Love the amazing race and love this team. Aren't you glad the they act so classy? They make being hungry, tired, and lost seem fun. I also wondered about the time it took her to thread the flowers for that garland. You can't tell with the way they edit.
