Florist Exchange has been in business for 3 years.
We hope to make people more aware of genuine florists in the UK, Ireland, Australia & New Zealand and to be able to contact them direct.
We as a company can contribute a great deal to the community.
Florist Exchange opperates from an office block in sunny England.

As I understand it you are part of Flowers4 which is an order gatherer and who I thought had tried to apply before. I believe you produce a directory - can you please expand a bit on how you connect florists etc.

Hi Caroline

Thanks for your question we are not affiliated with flowers4 in any way at all. But you are correct that we do send out free directorys to every single florist and florist related business in the UK & Ireland. Which allows them to be able to contact each other direct without paying relay charges or handling fees so it guarentees the florist 100% of every flower order that comes through to them. We also have a website which works in the same way appart from each shop can have a full profile about themselves it includes stuff like there minimum order, local delivery, gifts & flowers they stock etc. and also provides the consumer with the shops phone, fax & email so again they can contact them direct. This year we have branched out and are now compiling our 1st Australian & New Zealand directory and are also enlisting them on our website and soon we will be contacting Canada and USA

The question that was initialy asked was are we part of Flowers4 which is an order gatherer and the answer is no we have nothing to do with them at all. Florist Exchange is not part of any other organisation and are a totally independant company the only connection is as you stated we have the same owner other than that we are 2 separate compaines that are in no way similar and therfore we are in no way affiliated with each other obviously there are differnet interpretations of affiliation but we have our own resources and dont share any data or information with them or any other relay or marketing company around.

If the same people own both companies, and you really don't share information...I must truly question your business acumen! :boggles:

The reason we dont share information is because we are 2 totaly different companies who dont require the same data and have built up our own idivdual datafiles appropriate to the market we aim at so there is no need to share anything.
