This week Sharon of Penny's Florist in NE. was where else but in SC. After a couple of calls, Connie, Ellen and Sharon had a chance to sit down and visit and chat. Time was just to short. Sharon of Penny's Florist has parents that live in SC just a few miles from Connie's shop. I closed the doors and came running. Sharon is a beautiful woman that has a true vision on where she wants to take her shop.If you get a chance to meet fellow FCers do so. Here is a photo of us, L to R Ellen, Sharon and Connie(I'm the short one,haha)

You are so right, it was fun.
Waiting on Connie to chime in on our photo. If we had more notice we all would have really dressed to the hill, instead of our working threads.
 
It was truly a fun time! We chatted just as if we were old friends. Sharon is a charming lady.

As for the photo, why do I still look so fat when I'm trying to lose weight for that Oct. wedding where the groom's mother is a Size 2 or 4???

Now, for the rest of ya'll who didn't make this meeting (that means all FCers), come on down! Or up, as the case may be.
 
Connie, you just be as charming as you always are and happy as you are.You just aren't a size 2 person, maybe an 8 sounds more like it.A smaller body couldn't handle that larger than normal loving heart you have.So wear it with pride. You have toned down too!

I have to say, I KNOW I met two of the best, most charming and helpful florists in the country. Thank you Ellen and Connie for taking time out of your day to show me around your shop, Connie, and share your expertise, Ellen and Connie. Even though we are miles away, I know that I found two friends. Thanks so much. It was such fun. I will be back!

yay- this is what it's all about! Hope you can organize more get-togethers - they are such learning experiences, to see other shops & trade secrets in person.

Thank you for taking your time to look us up. Hope to see ya back soon... dinner next time! You had so little time, and was catching a flight the next morning. Thank you Connie for letting us gather at her shop... My shop is a few more miles up(down) the road, but love to have you visit.Any one else coming to SC any time soon? Please do drop on by. Ever meet some one and know you'll be friends.... thats the way our visit went... old Friends.
