I am networking right now with a wonderful photographer in my area he is very business minded.(Love that part) anyways he has come up with a wonderful Idea for both him and I a "flower Girls" calender!! not your typical 8x10 type but a nice large matte type that will show case his wonderful art and mine..(my only cost will be the flower part)so I have until Nov 6th to make 12 months to fill in with wonderful fun little girl stuff.. I have a few neat things in mind, such as flower flip flops and buckets with sea shells(june) teddy bear with flower wreath and matching little girl wreath, kissing ball, wand, ect anyone got hot ideas to help me think of March, july, sept... thanks you for your suggestions..

I saw the cutest pic somewhere .... with a little flower BOY. He held a pail with a cartoon drawn image of a muscle man that said "flower chucker".

Another one was a little girl with a pail and a long ribbon draped around her neck, instead of carrying the pail.

sounds like a fun project - good luck!

What about something back to school for Sept, like flowers in a lunchpail? I'd have to say 4th of July for July, lots of little flags?

trish

Good suggestions for Sept and July.

March how about something with lots of bells of Ireland and shamrocks, maybe coming out of a black pot, like the pot at the end of a rainbow?

Re-thinking the pot idea, you would need to be sure it looked like the pot at the end of a rainbow and not a witches couldron (sp?)

Don't forget a cute little purse filled with blooms! How about a wagon decorated for a really little flower girl--I've done that before (works great when there's already a baby in the lives of the newlyweds.

March-paint the pot Gold,April Showers-a row of little girls with parasols decorated with flowers, May flowers-sames girls with dozens of pots of flowers June-clothesline in the background-sitting in/near a clothes basket with flowers. July-the wagon theme with flags,August-bouqets with vegtables/flowers in a garden,October-a pumpkin patch of course/with sunflowers.Nov.-plaid everything Dec-Surprise-its beachtime..Ha Ha no clue. Jan.-lots of lambs-or kittys or puppies.. Oh -this was too fun..Sorry you got me going.:)

I would love that! That way we could meet and talk shop for hours and hours. Maybe sometime when I have an extra 24 hours, I'll drive up. Michigan is a long way, though!!

We used to live up there when I was very small in Potterville. Boy you sure get the snow!

Tracy,
I too am into calanders, and they do work, In my opinion you should respect the seasons with spring flowers in spring etc(as i look toward my teleflora calander with lilies of the valley for the month October). also maybe tradition june is brides month, the summer heat may fit the seashells better. Also you should step outside of your box for the otherwise you'll end up with just another calander. Also your calender should reflect a certain style is it country, high style, contemporary, traditional, and this style should be influenced by the people that you expect to use it. Is your calender free or are you selling it.

Your so right Myself and the photographers do plan on using more high end style and his photos are more high end also. I think we are going to sell it. maybe put copies in Bridal stores and other vendors, I do many bridal shows would love to have a few for that too..great ideas everyone. thanks sooo much~:yourock:
