Okay, now that the uploads are back in business!
Good luck everybody! Oh, and this is NOT a photo taken in my shop.

I am guessing Gomphrena (Clover)

No and no... much more rare.

Ooo, no but that sure looks like it.

Hints - it's not grown in the US, and it's a type of wildflower, though its name is not what you would typically think of as a wildflower. :)

Looks clover-like to me, but no specific guess.

Is it some type of Star of Bethlehem?

Nepali Mustang Fingers.

Okay, last hint, then it's time to put this poor choice to rest!

It's smells like vanilla.

It's a wild orchid--I'm trying to find a name...

Bingo!! Whew - this was so hard, I think that answer should just lay it to rest, but I'll wait a bit to see if anyone can find the name of this rare wild orchid.

I'll check back in later after my meeting.

:)

I thought they looked like scillia when its full open - used to get them from June for weddings. Love 'em

Orchis simea, or monkey orchid?

Or maybe a spotted orchid?

But probably a western marsh orchid (Dactylorhiza majalis)--grows wild in Europe. Final answer, Regis.

Thank you, Tracy, for responding--this has been driving me nuts ALL day!
