Not an allium - though I will agree they do have a similar look.

Tracy got the family correct, this flower is from the Amaryllidaceae family. But, so are hundreds of other flowers too

Those are pretty rare, i saw one in a magazine once.. I think those are African Blood Lilies.

The flowers have the same type look as a nerine lilly, but smaller, longer and much more abundant.

Is that right Heather? If not, my next guess is babies breath.
