I just bought a flowershop 4 weeks ago and still learning the trade. I have no formal education in the flower-business but have experience in business in general.
I am hoping to get some valuable information from others in the floral industry regarding website management, POS system, wire services etc.

What inspired you to get into the flower biz?

One day my husband came home with a bunch of roses. He was really excited but not because of what he has done but because the flowershop he got the roses from was up for sale! He wanted us to get some info and see if we could buy it. Well, to cut the story short we ended up not buying that flowershop - it was far too expensive - but we bought the one in Gulfport, Florida instead!
