Is anyone familiar with this organization? Received an order and there was a slight problem with the price. I sent an ask and they responded with a phonecall.

I asked where they were located and after some hesitation she said Ontario. I asked where in Ontario..."It's a big province." She said York.

I checked out the site and it took me to B.C (Vernon's Flowers). BTW it's a sending only florist.

Just curious.

I think this is part of the Loblaws set up. Your local neighbourhood grocery store as order gatherer.
Look up York Ontario in the F.T.D. book "nada", "rien", zip.

Spoke with their customer service centre, the other day they are in the States

She had a rather distinct U.S. accent when she said she was from Ontario...Ontario CA perhaps. ;)

At anyrate she was really quite confused when I asked for a price confirmation...she had given me a price of 00.0. She had put the price in under description...I just wanted confirmation for our records. Finally got it straight...but I really hate being lied to...

You gotta love Grocery staff stepping into the biz. Price of $0.00?? Either she's clueless or crafty!

FTD signed up Natioanl Growers (grocers??) a few months back. I think I posted the info in the News section? Or WS?
 
I happen to be driving THROUGH York,Ontario tomorrow...

on my way to Fisherville. There IS a gas station, and a small grocery store there, along with 15-20 homes, a broken down barn, a horse riding stable and the Grand River passing through it!!
Should I check into the grocery store to see if FTD has signed them up, and put an FTD logo out front??

Swamped with underpriced orders from Loblaws in Weston Ont...they don't respond to queries...just send more. They don't check codifieds either...we don't have the Bear in a bag (do our own) but they keep sending with "no sub"...if you don't answer my questions...I sub to value. I don't have time for this nonsense.

:) I told them "if you continue to send us undervalued orders, please be advised they will be filled to value, with delivery charge taken off the top". They advertise no delivery...I don't know about you but our cars here don't run on air...
