We're real happy with Flowers All Hours, their operators have taken very good care of our customers for the last 18 months that we've had the service.
But let me tell you what has happened...watch your clearing house statements. As of January 2004 we're being charged for each summary message sent to us. There's never been a charge for this in the past, but now they will charge for an additional 31 messages each month...@ $1.25 each. Tell me how we're to reconcile the monthly charges without getting this summary. FTD's response was...you can call us each morning to ask. I DON'T THINK SO.
Has anyone else seen this yet?

Holly, Thanks so much for pointing this out. I thought 39 messages was a lot. We'll check with FTD after the holiday to try to take care of this.

I also checked my statement online today. After finding 40 "messages"I couldn't account for, I gave FTD a call. They are charging for each daily summary message. I asked if they could NOT send those and she took me off the daily list. We'll wait & see if there are any more charges they can make up for next month!

WHY, WHY should you have to ASK either TF or FTD? THEY should inform you before these FEES are added. What a crock!

Does everybody remember "Where's Waldo"?
When we open up the clearinghouse statement, we call it "Where's Bob".
As a good business person we should be aware of what we're paying for on the statement...but I don't think I should need a course in "detective 101". We have to scrutinize the entire statement...line by line to find the added charges each month.
Considering we're the CUSTOMER, this is nuts.
Oh well, just my opinion, sorry for the ranting.

Before I dropped FTD in Dec, I had noted that FAH was adding a fee for every "message". Mine was for 75 cents each. This for 6-7 weeks before I left. Anything to keep their hands in YOUR pocket. They probably have contests to see who can come up with more of these dumb fees. Also to see how many florist still have no clue. It probably pays since most florist don't seem to check their statements except to be sure they get credit for orders they send/receive, etc.
